Uninstalling
Removing the desktop app does not affect your FutPrint account, plan or saved workspaces. You can keep using FutPrint in the browser, or reinstall the app at any time and find everything where you left it.
On macOS
- 1Quit FutPrint
Press ⌘ Q while FutPrint is in front.
- 2Move it to the Bin
Open the Applications folder and drag FutPrint to the Bin, then empty the Bin.
To remove the saved sign-in as well, open Keychain Access (search for it with
Spotlight), search for in.futprint.desktop and delete the entries it finds.
On Windows
- 1Open Apps
Open Settings, then Apps, then Installed apps (on Windows 10, Apps & features).
- 2Uninstall FutPrint
Find FutPrint in the list, open its menu and choose Uninstall, then confirm.
To remove the saved sign-in as well, open Credential Manager from the Start
menu, choose Windows Credentials and remove the entry whose name contains
in.futprint.desktop.
PCs managed by an IT team that installed the MSI package may need the IT team to uninstall it.
Resetting the app instead
If you only want a clean start, for example to clear a misbehaving local setting, you do not need to uninstall:
- Sign out and back in from the profile menu. Your workspaces reload from your account.
- Clear the local data folder while FutPrint is closed. It holds the app's
local settings and cache, not your account data:
- macOS:
~/Library/WebKit/in.futprint.desktopand~/Library/Caches/in.futprint.desktop - Windows:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\in.futprint.desktop
- macOS:
Clearing the local data folder also removes anything you kept only on that computer, such as unsaved layout changes. Save your workspace to your account first.
