Installing on Windows
FutPrint for Windows runs on 64-bit Windows 10 and Windows 11. The standard installer sets FutPrint up for your Windows user, so you do not need an administrator password. Installation takes about two minutes.
Before you start
- Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit on an Intel or AMD processor.
- Microsoft Edge WebView2, the web engine FutPrint runs on. It is already part of Windows 11 and current Windows 10, and the installer adds it if it is missing.
- An internet connection for sign-in and live market data.
- A FutPrint account on any plan. You can create one from the app.
Choose an installer
| Installer | Best for | Installs for | Needs admin rights |
|---|---|---|---|
| Setup (.exe) | Most people | Your Windows user | No |
| MSI package (.msi) | IT teams and managed PCs | Every user on the PC | Yes |
If you are not sure, use the .exe installer.
Install with the .exe installer
- 1Download the installer
Open the FutPrint for Windows page and click Download for Windows. Your browser saves a setup file, usually to the Downloads folder.
- 2Run it
Open the downloaded file from your browser's download list or from File Explorer.
- 3Follow the setup
Click through the short setup. It installs FutPrint for your user and adds it to the Start menu. If WebView2 is missing, the installer downloads it first.
- 4Open FutPrint
Leave Run FutPrint ticked on the last screen, or open FutPrint from the Start menu at any time.
If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC"
Depending on the release, Microsoft Defender SmartScreen may show this message the first time you run the installer, because it has not seen the file often.
- 1Check the details
Click More info and check that the app name is FutPrint.
- 2Run the installer
Click Run anyway. Setup continues as normal, and Windows remembers the choice for that file.
Install with the MSI package
The MSI package installs FutPrint for every user on the PC and can be deployed with your usual software management tools. Double-click it and approve the administrator prompt, or install it silently from an elevated command prompt:
msiexec /i FutPrint.msi /qn
Replace FutPrint.msi with the name of the file you downloaded.
Sign in with your email and password, or choose Continue with Google to sign in through your default browser. Signing In explains both. Your saved workspaces load as soon as you are signed in.
Make it easy to reach
- Pin it. While FutPrint is open, right-click its taskbar button and choose Pin to taskbar. You can also right-click it in the Start menu and choose Pin to Start.
- Snap it. Hover over the maximise button, or press Win Z on Windows 11, to place FutPrint beside another app or across a second monitor.
- Go full screen. Maximise the window with Win ↑.
