Power Scanner, Renko, Point & Figure and Kagi charts, log scale and auto-fit
Rolled out on 15 and 16 June. A live order-flow scanner across Nifty 50 futures, four new chart modes, a logarithmic price scale, an auto-fitting price axis, grid and decimals settings, and drawings that belong to the symbol they were drawn on.
New
- Power Scanner panel. A live scanner over Nifty 50 continuous futures listing order-flow and OI findings per symbol: Large Print, Sweep, Delta Surge, CVD Divergence, Absorption, RVOL Spike and OI long build-up, short build-up, short covering and long unwinding. Presets for Bullish Flow, Bearish Flow, OI Buildup and Microstructure, a side filter, symbol filter, severity levels and a guide to what each finding means. Baselines use the day's real average volume per minute. Shipped as an early release. Power Scanner guide.
- Renko, Point & Figure, Kagi and Elder Impulse chart modes. Brick and box size by fixed value, ATR or percentage, reversal settings, brick and X/O colours, yang and yin thickness, wicks and the price source. Live ticks re-derive the series. Chart types guide.
- Logarithmic price scale, with scale-aware coordinates and axis ticks.
- Auto-fit Price Scale, on by default: the axis fits the visible candles, any manual zoom or pan switches to manual without a jump, and a double-click on the axis re-enables it.
- Line and Area chart settings: colour, width and Linear, Smooth or Step style, fill colours and opacity for Area, and optional swing-pivot dots with sensitivity, colours and size.
- Grid and price-axis settings: show grid, horizontal and vertical lines, colour, opacity and style; Price Decimals with Auto from tick size so penny stocks and indices read correctly; the axis gutter sizes to its widest label; double-click the time axis to reset to latest.
Improved
- Time-axis labels are chosen from a step ladder by on-screen spacing, land on wall-clock boundaries and emphasise the date on intraday charts and the month on daily ones.
- Stable TPO zoom. Stacked TPO zooms anchored to the right edge so the latest session stays pinned, and Alt or Shift with the wheel reliably zooms the price axis. Fixes the double over-pan on each zoom step.
- Drawings belong to their symbol. Drawings are partitioned by symbol inside each chart; switching symbol shows that symbol's own drawings and never deletes the others.
- Readable instrument names in search: NIFTY26061617850CE shows as NIFTY 16 JUN 17850 CALL, NIFTY26JUNFUT as NIFTY JUN FUT and RELIANCE-EQ as RELIANCE.
- Footprint colours follow the theme (white text in dark, black in light), with one source of default swatches so settings, defaults and the chart never drift. The drawing toolbar gets redrawn icons.
- Tab strip scrolls natively, so a finger drag pans the tabs on touch devices.
Fixed
- Live buy and sell classification carries across candle boundaries so the first tick of a candle matches historical aggregation.
